It illustrates Petro-SIM’s use to simulate different types of general operations including distillation columns, furnaces, heat exchanges, and utility unit operations as well as demonstrating options for further use of the tool. Furthermore, it demonstrates how to use Petro-SIM with Excel and provides guidance on the benefits and limitations of the available models.

The course is ideal for beginners with no previous knowledge of Petro-SIM, users of other process simulation tools, or even for existing users who want to deepen their knowledge of Petro-SIM modeling and stay abreast on latest developments.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to use Petro-SIM software for rigorous simulation modelling, forecasting and monitoring of your refinery, among other applications.

The training course is aimed at engineers involved in day-to day operational decision making, process engineering, or design projects within a refinery or petrochemical complex. No previous knowledge of Petro-SIM is required.
