Expert in: Energy Management and Reduction Solutions
My enthusiasm for engineering and applied mathematics can be traced back to academia where I spent significant time teaching chemical engineering, chemistry, calculus, and other STEM courses as a full-time and part-time professor at several Argentine universities.
As a seasoned product manager of the Visual MESA Energy Management System suite of applications, I take pride in developing client solutions across KBC's suite of real-time, cloud-based software products to help clients minimize their emissions and aim towards building a more sustainable future.
In my role as a scholar-practitioner, I have authored more than 150 technical papers. Publishing and/or presenting these studies at both conferences and technical meetings has given me the opportunity to share my knowledge on new applications, software, and technology to advance engineering theory as well as the energy industry.
Prior to joining KBC, I served as the director of the energy management systems area of SOTEICA, a chemical engineering consulting firm with offices in Buenos Aires and Santa Fe (Argentina), Barcelona (Spain), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Houston (USA). In that position, I led many projects related with model based predictive control, process and energy real time optimization, and intelligent systems applied to process industries.
When away from the office, I enjoy reading, walking along the Parana river shore, and tasting Argentinean wines.
