LNG is becoming a popular choice for a cleaner energy source due to its low-carbon emissions and cost-effective transportation of large amounts of energy. However, LNG plants are known to be energy and cost-intensive because of the power needed for compression and refrigeration. The main challenge in the LNG industry is to improve the efficiency of natural gas liquefaction processes while reducing costs. Traditional gas turbine simulation procedures can be time-consuming and may not provide accurate results. GT-SIM provides a single integrated process utility simulation that allows the project team to select the most suitable driver setup while considering the economic and emission impact.
