Everyone has a role to play in delivering a better future for the next generation.
Along with our parent company, Yokogawa, we have three goals to achieve a sustainable society by 2050:
To achieve these goals we are transforming our business to become more adaptable and resilient to external changes, evolving to maximize our assets and increase resource efficiency, and engaging with our customers, partners, suppliers and employees on innovative ways to create the value needed to make the world a better place.
As a Yokogawa company we’re proud to be part of this shared vision.
Our commitment to minimizing our clients’ emissions is the strongest part we play in emissions reduction. We’ve been working with industrial sites around the world for decades to help them improve their energy management through our consulting energy efficiency studies. One of our key technology solutions has grown since 2004 to nearly 100 industrial sites running the Visual MESA® Energy Management System to support their daily operations. This graph shows the consequent GHG emissions reduction that has been calculated from those sites using the Visual MESA Energy Management System.
We are forecasted to reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 48.8% for FY2025 compared to FY2022. Through consultation with our employees to understand their views on hybrid working and sharing offices with our parent company, Yokogawa, we’ve been able to reduce the size of office space and number of KBC owned offices which directly impacts Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
In this programme by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and ITN Productions Industry News, we highlight how we're helping clients on their journey to net zero, through energy savings, emissions reductions and decarbonization.
