Expert in: Upstream
I bring 30 years of experience across the upstream, midstream and energy consulting space — and I now lead the Upstream practice at KBC. Before joining KBC in 2023, I held engineering, commercial and executive roles at Schlumberger, ExxonMobil, Hess Corporation, Mubadala Energy and Lekoil, which gave me a solid mix of field-level and strategic perspectives.
In one of my recent roles I headed Strategy & Planning at Mubadala Energy in the UAE, managing the five-year strategic planning process and financial valuation that supported over a billion dollars annually in capital deployment. At Hess I was Commercial Manager for gas and NGLs across North America. And at Lekoil I led the midstream subsidiary from formation to revenue generation within three years. The project in Niger Delta developed gas processing facilities to capture and monetize produced gas versus flaring, and built field development plans for new multibillion dollar value offshore assets.
My career began as a field engineer with Schlumberger, where I also served as Trainer and Operations Manager. Those early days grounded me in the technical side of energy, which still guides how I work today.
I’ve worked on projects across North America, South America, Africa and the Middle East. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ilorin (Nigeria), and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
