I am a Senior Consultant within the Operations Performance Improvement team at KBC. My background spans over three decades in the energy, petrochemical and oil&gas industries, and I specialize in advising industrial process clients on their Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) projects.
I help clients set up their IOC aligned to strategic goals and in accordance with best practices to maximize the facility's value long term. Through methodical application of the core IOC pillars (Physical Room Design, Collaboration Technologies, Situational Awareness and Integrated Workflows), I am well versed in leading a team to design optimized IOC solutions supported by revised Operating Models and our Operational Change Management framework.
After graduating as an Electronics Engineer, I entered the process industry as a technical lead for a variety of Engineering and Operations oriented IT/OT projects. Then I added the human and organizational aspects of effective technology deployment as Integrated Operations Consultant in projects for the North Sea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Australia, and the Middle East.
When I am not at a computer, I can be found touring the whisky distilleries of Scotland by motorbike, or hosting whisky tastings at local restaurants.
