Expert in: Process Consulting, Digitalization, Refinery Petrochemical Integration, Supply Chain Optimization, Asset optimization
I serve as a Principal Consultant and am a subject matter expert in Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (FCC) and Downstream Processes. Currently I am leading the KBC India operations. My experience includes process consulting, digitalisation, refinery petrochemical integration, supply chain optimization, strategy and master plan development and asset optimization with profit improvement programs.
With over two decades of experience, I have a rich background in refinery operations and strategic feasibility studies with master plan development. In addition to supporting asset and energy optimization, I also assist in developing decarbonization strategies, integrating refinery and petrochemical complexes, and optimizing new generation FCC units with propylene maximisation mode.
My contributions have led to positive outcomes, some of which are highlighted here. By optimizing FCC units and selecting catalysts to save costs, I earned Exxon Mobil's 2007 ROCE award (Recognizing Outstanding contributions to excellence). In addition, I supported clients in Asia and the Middle East with multiple asset optimization and profit improvement programs with cumulated opportunities worth US 100 M. As part of KBC's owner technical advisory support, I managed a greenfield Refinery Petrochemical integrated project from the concept stage to design review to deliver operating cost reductions exceeding US 200 M.
In my previous operations and engineering roles, I covered Europe, Asia and Middle East regions for organizations such as Exxon Mobil, Reliance, Saudi Aramco and Qatar Petroleum.
I graduated from Banaras Hindu University, Institute of Technology, with a BTech degree in Chemical Engineering.
Outside of work, I enjoy sports, entertainment, and exploring new places.
