Main Aspects of Job: Responsible for services deliverables such as support, implementation and/or training of KBC supply chain and scheduling solution (VM-SCS) Ensure support on use of supply chain and scheduling solution is delivered in a timely fashion to the highest quality and guaranteed satisfaction of customers Work alongside the Technology Lead to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients ensuring their modelling and configuration needs are met and to grow the Supply Chain and Scheduling solution business Receive direct technical support from a subject matter expert with experience in the implementation of supply chain scheduling solution in the process industry. Collaborate with other groups within KBC regarding projects, strategy definition and other items related to the growth of KBC Business. Mentoring of staff on a technical capacity during projects and/or activities Work alongside sales and Subject Matter Experts in technical proposals for services/implementation projects of supply chain and scheduling solution in industrial complexes.
Main Roles and Responsibilities: Main support contact for internal and external clients, including Helpdesk support via email, phone and in person Ensure client's needs and expectations are met with respect to KBC solution and referring issues where necessary to appropriate specialist, or sales. Client liaison / discussion of technical aspects of the supply chain and scheduling solution implementation, as well as project specifications and documentation Project Management of small to medium scale projects as required. Implement supply chain and scheduling solution at client sites – Model building and configuration, system installation and testing Serve as technology/energy specialist in consulting projects. Develop and/or deliver sections or entire supply chain and scheduling solution training course independently Participate in testing of solutions and provide feedback. Assist with documentation and demo case development. Identify areas needing improvement or development of potential solutions. Assist with client sales visits to demonstrate technology features. Identify/communicate/follow-up realistic potential sales opportunities. Provide support to KBC marketing events; Represent Company at industry conferences, present papers. Build / maintain awareness of KBC's other product lines and the ability to support them Actively add to company Knowledge Management. Actively support company work process implementation and improvement.
Position Requirements: BS or MS degree or equivalent in Chemical / Process Engineering. 5+ years of relevant experience. Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of petrochemical processes with experience in the use of operations scheduling tools Plant or petrochemical operational experience is a distinct advantage. Knowledge of site economics is a distinct advantage. Familiar with the preparation of short-term production plans, inventory management, planning of logistics and monitoring of deviations from targets at industrial complexes. Familiarity with one or more additional KBC software products is a distinct advantage. Ability to work as a team member in complex technology areas. Experience working in a global organization and with different cultures is an advantage. Flexibility to work with Customers in different time zones.
