The Senior Consultant- Product Management (Maximus) has responsibility for defining the content and functionality of the Maximus product suite by determining the market driven requirements of the software as we move rapidly forwards with Cloud implementation as well as continue On-Prem. Maximus is KBC’s integrated oil & gas production modelling, CCS modelling and flow assurance software
The post holder will be responsible for defining product vision, strategy, roadmap and requirements and prioritize development activities in the best interests of KBC’s business, working very closely with the rest of the Product Management/ Simulation team.
Acting as product owner you will also be in charge of the management of the product backlog coordinating with the scrum team to deliver on the product strategy, ensuring that the new developments meet the requirements and satisfy actual market needs, delivering and adding value for customers.
Working with the sales and marketing organization, you will act as the main technical focal point to support the development and execution of sales and marketing campaign, supporting and driving market positioning and penetration in order to maximize revenue and profit growth of the Maximus Product Suite and the KBC Simulation Business.
Across the KBC software suite, you will also interact closely with product management, support, training and business development concerning Multiflash (KBC’s PVT, thermodynamics and flow assurance modelling software), FloWax (KBC’s wax deposition modelling software) and Petro-SIM (KBC’s flagship process simulation software).
You will be a key interface between O&G and CCS customers and the various stakeholder groups. Based on detailed working knowledge of how users do their jobs, the Senior Consultant – Product Management works closely with customers, internal stakeholders and development to maximize product value.
In addition, the postholder must work to achieve effective design and documentation (functional/business value, usability, install-ability, manageability, guided help, etc.) to support the needs of the business.
The primary objectives of this role are:
1) to develop the product vision and strategy that converts customer business problems and use cases into detailed product requirements that realize value for customers and support the profitability and growth of the product line(s) and enables the development teams to accurately build high-impact products;
2) support Inside and Outside Sales in the sales process and
3) to create and deliver all necessary technical materials, primarily targeted at Sales, Customer Support, Training and Services, to ensure overall company readiness for product releases and ongoing support.
