Working as part of a team in the process consulting business line, typical projects include Profit Improvement Programs (PIP), strategic analysis, operational excellence, process trouble shooting and Plant optimisation. This role requires a good base level understanding of general refinery process operations
KBC is currently working on multiple Profit Improvement Programs in Public sector refineries in India. These programs require onsite support to implement the identified opportunities and will require full times site presence. As an implementation manager role - will require to coordinate the implementation work on the client sites in India. Working on the client sites will be complemented by office work in KBC’s Mumbai office, which will also be the base office after completion of the implementation work. The person will also be utilized on other global consulting projects based on the respective skill set requirement.
On completion of the implementation work mentioned above, the candidate will be effectively involved in other process consulting project work, typical projects include Profit Improvement Programs (PIP), strategic analysis, operational excellence, process trouble shooting, Digitalisation and plant optimization.
This role requires a good base level understanding of general refinery process operations and economic driving forces.
The post holder will be required to work as part of a team- both within the location and remotely. The successful candidate will have a willingness to travel as and when required on an international and domestic basis. Approximately 25%- 30% of the time.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
Sets/updates the project targets reflecting commitments of the contract in conjunction with the Regional Operations Manager.
Establish Project Plan - employs KBC’s established methods and tools, adapted for the specific site’s needs.
Defines resourcing requirements and work to be done by the individual team members.
Reports progress formally to the Client and internally.
