OT/IT Services Senior Staff Consultant

Main Aspects of Job:

  • Serve as Team Lead for regional and onsite KBC resources
  • Billable as project manager for assigned project
    • Maintain overall program roadmap
    • Communicate overall program achievements and value creation
    • Promote adoption of the solutions and growth in client skills
    • Coordinate with OSIsoft
  • Support sales activities
    • Coordination of Statement of Work with IT Services team
    • Coordinate estimates and review proposals with sales
    • Support business development at client site
  • Coordinate with multiple Business Units (BU) on site to create value-add products with OSIsoft technologies.
  • Support product development onsite with BU
    • Identify requirements
    • Determine benefits
    • Work with BU to determine funding needs
    • Generate documentation for funding requests
    • Generate schedules and run to completion
  • Maintain project financials
    • Maintain view of spend by project area compared to budget
    • Support monthly billing reviews
  • Monitor project spend against PO

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Solves problems and implements solutions using personal advanced expertise

  • Approves user requirements and final designs
  • Implements processes, skills and other mechanisms to improve policies and procedures
  • Works without supervision
  • Has full accountability for project delivery
  • Has accountability for project schedule and financial reporting
  • Recommends compensation changes
  • Negotiates commercial aspects of projects
  • Reports to a senior manager or director

Position Requirements:

  • Track record building and delivering complex systems with multiple technical contributors and business stakeholders; experience with OSIsoft technology a plus
  • Focus on defining and delivering solutions and the value realized
  • Able to plan, organize and control work for self and all resources
  • Understanding of project accounting
  • Ability to manage projects or programs using range of methodologies from waterfall to agile and hybrids in-between
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to supervise junior and senior resources
  • Ability to communicate directly with customer about complex technical issues, difficult project situations.
  • Ability to advise, to consult, to make recommendations on projects to clients.
