Main Aspects of Job:

The post holder will be responsible for developing and expanding KBC’s sales awards and market share within KBC’s IMENA sales territory for both Consulting and Software. As part of this role, the post holder will also be required to travel to both international and domestic locations as necessary to achieve the objectives of the role.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Quickly develop, and keep an up to date understanding of KBC and its full portfolio of solutions
  • With the support of other departments in KBC, and liaising within the sales department, manage the corporate customer relationship for identified customers, promoting KBC to maximize revenue potential
  • Perform the Account Manager role for specific Clients, such as coordinating all client business development activities and maintaining an updated client account plan
  • To proactively contribute to the overall business development process in KBC
  • Setting client strategy
  • Meeting and presenting to Clients and interpreting their business needs
  • Responding to enquiries, determining bid strategy  and assisting in the preparation of pre-qualification/technical/commercial proposals in an agreed time frame,  in cooperation with the practice areas
  • Developing commercial terms based on input from the practices and reviewing with Regional Sales Executive before issue
  • To lead or support contract negotiations with clients, managing the agreement preparation as necessary
  • Manage the sales to business development handover to the KBC operations
  • Monitor the industry generally, and specifically with respect to KBC Clients and competition in the region
  • Responsible for the production of high quality accurate documentation, proposals, records and sales forecasts
  • Accurately maintaining sales CRM with realistic estimates of sales award dates
  • Monitor other opportunities for KBC’s solutions and tools and report these back to the organization, and assist as required in their business development
  • Co-ordinate with and support other KBC sales persons, representatives and agents world-wide, as required
  • Attend external and in-house seminars, conferences etc., and present papers as required
  • Deputize for Regional Sales Executive in a line management role, as required
  • Undertake other tasks, as directed

Position Requirements:

  • Degree in industry related discipline or equivalent
  • Industry experience either in technical, operational or commercial role or advisory/consulting experience
  • Experience of working in a client facing role and proactively managing client relationships
  • Previous experience in a sales or commercial role is required
  • Ability to develop and successfully manage multi-level client relationships to maximize a sustainable revenue stream for KBC
  • Positive contribution towards development of new business opportunities
  • Able to think strategically and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work as a team player who works collaboratively within the business development team and with other teams in the business
  • Practiced negotiating and closing skills to both technical and commercial activities
  • Experience of working in an international context
  • Excellent influencing skills
  • Positive contribution towards other areas of the company and the overall success of the company
  • Commercially aware with the ability to understand how individual and team activity impacts the bottom line
  • Flexible with the ability to prioritize and reprioritize due to conflicting demands
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative
  • Able to deliver presentations to senior stakeholders within and outside of KBC
  • Professional attitude and projection of professional company image
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English. Arabic speaker desirable
